WHO WE ARE
EZRAGUITAR The EzraGuitar Conservatory was founded in 2008 by classical guitarist, Maoz Ezra and soprano, Leilah Dione Ezra. The foundation of the school is the method and philosophy of teaching developed by Maoz Ezra. The goal being to teach music in a way that follows the natural curiosity of the student and to develop a deep and true love of creating and sharing this art form. The method starts with children as young as 4 years old and continues all the way to professional levels. Over the past decade the program has expanded to include teaching residencies in six New York City public schools, a large private studio, a full Arts Enrichment After School Program; a Conservatory level course for advanced students and a faculty recital series to feature our incredible teaching artists. There are currently over 500 students enrolled in our program this season. In addition to our teaching philosophy, EzraGuitar was developed by musicians- for musicians. The EzraGuitar faculty is comprised of some of the best classical guitarists, percussionists, actors and artists of this generation! They come to us from all corners of the earth and bring with them an intense passion for performance and dedication to passing their art on to the next generation. Two of our four concerts this season are in Brooklyn, two in Beacon, NY. We are reaching out to you to join us in bringing beautiful music to our community and to support the fine musicians who are playing it. 100% of the fees paid toward ads for these events will be going directly to the Artists. The mission of our organization is not only to teach our students how to play music, but also to experience music, exposing them to live performances by master artists at the highest level. We accomplish that mission by hiring the most professional, passionate and phenomenally talented musicians that we can find to not only teach our students but also to perform and share their artistry with them and our communities.
