What a perfect time of year to be thankful for all that we have being a part of our SAGES' family! Special thanks to Nehls' Realty, SAGES' Governance Board, PTO, families, and staff members for all your hard work putting together this amazing event!
Senior Democratic Seminar Students Emily Rens, Morgan Jahn, Emily Andrew, and Jaden White focused their project on strengthening the relationship between the elderly and the youth of the community. They volunteered their time daily at the Christian Home conducting Game Days and Nail Days with the residents, held an Electronics Day at the Gateway Apartments, and fundraised over $250 to purchase materials for 18 tie blankets for all of the residents at the Christian Homestead.
Our Medical Explorer students gave their presentation on their experiences in the program. Eight students spent twelve weeks rotating through the following departments at Waupun Memorial Hospital; Radiology, ER, Med Surg, Physical Therapy, Registration, Surgery, Lab, Clinic, and Food Service.

Your Waupun Area School District is excited to share that we have updated our Raptor check in system for parents. Each school has a kiosk for parents to check in and print their own badge. The systems requires that you have presented your driver's license to our secretaries and it has been entered into the database. When this has been done you can then utilze the kiosk by scanning your driver's license and the kiosk will print your pass. In the picture you can see the touch screen, driver's license scanner and the printer. We are always striving to keep our schools as safe.
Executive Function: A brief article and vide from edutopia. The video is geared for educators, however, the tasks can be accomplished by parents.
Executive function is the brain’s air traffic controller, intercepting a tangle of thoughts and impulses and steering them toward safe, productive outcomes. Executive function allows children to improve their abilities to stay focused, plan ahead, regulate their emotions, and think flexibly and creatively.
